✅ We're currently rounding third (baseball term on what will end up being a whopping four-thing week for our wealthy and attractive stakeholders, including the Top Whatever, our proprietary ranking of however many teams we feel deserve to be ranked this week. Is Kentucky in our top three after the stunt they pulled last week in College Station? You bet your bluegrass bottom:

✅ Also reappearing this week: the latest installment of Mys. Tery's Star Locks, our experimental foray into gambling content, in which we're picking games based entirely on the star charts of the stadiums they're being played in. (Our record, through three weeks, is a hilarious 16-6.)

✅ We're historically terrible at remembering we have an Instagram account to begin with, but putting together zodiac starter packs for teams is some of the most fun we've had in a while. (Did you know Michigan, as football program, is canonically a Gemini? Tracks, doesn't it?)
(Before you send us a fussy email about this: We consulted a number of learned Michigan grads while trying to decide which war book to include there, a process which spawned at least two friendship-altering arguments offline. Fight it out amongst ourselves and get back to us and then we'll swap Battle Cry of Freedom out for Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.)
✅ We moved the Bradlee Van Pelt Award Watch List out of preseason coverage this year for transfer portal-related reasons that are all explained within.
