Welcome to The Top Whatever, Channel 6’s ranking of all the progrums we’d like to talk about after consuming a weekend of college football. We only rank teams based on their accomplishments of the preceding week, which 1) allows us to not do the thing where we just shuffle the same ten teams around the top echelon, and 2) keeps you from having to read same.
This week, we rank a team that didn’t even play at #1, because recovery and rest are just that important. Are you #1 for taking a nap during work hours? Honestly, yes. Yes, you are.
ONE: MIAMI. Smartest team in the nation. Why do we say that about a school that proudly boasts “easily identifiable real estate fraud” as one of its most popular majors? Because while that might fairly describe every Florida university with an FBS team, Miami didn’t play football this week, and therefore did not lose.
