We're not sure what would even qualify as a suitable thank-you for your showing in this year's Charity Bowl. The final tally with corporate matching gifts folded in stands perilously close to 1.2 MILLION DOLLARS, and close to $300,000 of that is credited to donors of the Michigan Wolverines. We would honestly do this every year if we could, and hopefully future, less plague-y offseasons will permit us to do so, but it's time to resume the tradition we began all the way back in 2019 of throwing a party in the hometown of the CharitiBundi-est team of donors.
Your humble Channel 6 news team will be swinging up to Ann Arbor the day after our Indianapolis show and posting up in our favorite spot, the downtown branch of the Ann Arbor library. We'll hold court on the lobby stage from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday night; the library closes at 8, and our long-tenured team of fundraising buddies at MGoBlog have declared themselves to be in charge of the afterparty, so stay tuned for news on that.
This is intended to be a very casual event! No tickets, no charge to attend. We really did just want to take advantage of being anywhere near Michigan to show up and hug necks and pass out some special Bowl merch we made just for y'all. If this sounds like fun to you, do us a favor and throw in an RSVP here, just so we can turn up with a vaguely appropriate amount of goodies.
TL;DR come spend your Saturday night of the Memorial Day holiday weekend with us in the Michigan library. If you're around, we'd love to see you. If not, we're going to try and get it recorded by the library's intrepid tech team, which has already defeated the Fullcast haint once to produce the best-sounding live show in program history.
SATURDAY, MAY 25

p/s It has not escaped us that this will technically be the first-ever Channel 6 live event? Would y'all be interested in more of these? Let us know via any of the channels on our contact page.
